Terms of Service

1Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ContactsAI mobile application (“App”, “Service”) provided by TapsNclicks (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“User”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users who access it through the Apple App Store. Use of the App is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated by reference.

2Description of Service

ContactsAI is an iOS application that uses on-device artificial intelligence (Apple Intelligence) to help users add, manage, search, and organize their personal contacts. Key features include:

• Natural-language contact parsing from text or voice input.
• Business card scanning using on-device OCR.
• Natural-language search across contacts.
• Contact grouping with custom icons and colours.
• Optional two-way sync with the native Apple Contacts database.

All AI processing occurs locally on your device. No data is transmitted to TapsNclicks servers (we do not operate any servers that process user data).

3License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, TapsNclicks grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on iOS devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store EULA.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense any part of the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as expressly permitted by law.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Use the App to store, process, or transmit illegal, harmful, or infringing material.
• Bypass any security or technical limitations of the App.

4User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of contact data you enter or import into the App.
• The legality of using third-party data — ensure you have the right to store and process any contact information you add (e.g., consent from your contacts where required by local law such as GDPR).
• Backups — ContactsAI stores data locally on your device. We strongly recommend enabling iCloud Backup. We are not responsible for data loss due to device damage, loss, or app deletion.
• Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction relating to personal data, business contacts, and communications.
• Maintaining your device’s security — including the lock screen, biometric authentication, and iOS updates.

5Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its code, design, user interface, branding, and content, are owned by TapsNclicks or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

The ContactsAI name, logo, and visual identity are trademarks of TapsNclicks. You may not use them without prior written permission.

The App incorporates Apple frameworks (FoundationModels, SwiftData, Speech, Vision, Contacts) which are the property of Apple Inc. and subject to Apple’s licensing terms.

6User Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary:

• All user data (contacts, voice input, scanned images, preferences) is stored and processed on your device only.
• TapsNclicks does not collect, transmit, or have access to any user data.
• You retain full ownership and control of all data you create or import.

By using the App, you acknowledge that TapsNclicks has no ability to recover, restore, or access your contact data under any circumstances.

7Third-Party Services & Apple Frameworks

The App relies entirely on Apple-provided frameworks and services:

• Apple Intelligence / FoundationModels — on-device language model.
• SwiftData — local persistent storage.
• Contacts framework — optional sync with native Apple Contacts.
• Speech & Vision frameworks — on-device speech recognition and OCR.
• iCloud — backup of local app data, if you enable it in iOS Settings.

Your use of these features is subject to Apple’s own terms of service and privacy policies. TapsNclicks is not responsible for any third-party services provided by Apple Inc.

8System Requirements

ContactsAI requires:

• iOS 26 or later.
• iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or M1 iPad / later (devices supporting Apple Intelligence).
• Apple Intelligence enabled in iOS Settings.

The App may not function, or may have reduced functionality, on devices not meeting these requirements. TapsNclicks is not obligated to provide support for incompatible devices.

9Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TapsNclicks does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
• AI-generated outputs (contact parsing, search results) will be 100% accurate.
• The App will be compatible with all future iOS versions or hardware.
• Any defects or errors will be corrected.

AI Accuracy: Apple Intelligence is a probabilistic system. Contact parsing, intent classification, and search results may contain errors. Always review AI-generated content before saving.

10Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAPSNCLICKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

• Loss of data, contacts, or business opportunities.
• Loss of profits, revenue, or goodwill.
• Damage to devices or other software.
• Incorrect contact information saved due to AI parsing errors.

Since ContactsAI is provided free of charge and TapsNclicks has no access to your data, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed USD $10, or the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

11Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Doing so will also delete all locally stored ContactsAI data (subject to your iCloud Backup settings).

TapsNclicks may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice, including (but not limited to) breach of these Terms. Since the App runs entirely on your device, termination would primarily take the form of removing the App from the App Store; existing installations would continue to function.

12Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at the URL below with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through an in-app notice or App Store release notes.

13Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TapsNclicks is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14Apple-Specific Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and TapsNclicks only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the App.

Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
